Hope Beyond Grief

David speaks through sorrow with honest acceptance: his child would not return to him, but he would go to the child. Grief is real, and Scripture does not ask us to pretend otherwise. Yet faith looks beyond the present separation to God’s keeping care. In loss, we may bring our questions and tears to the Lord, trusting that death does not have the final word.
