Knowing What Is Excellent

Paul speaks of those instructed in the law who know God’s will and approve what is excellent. Knowledge of truth is a gift, but it also carries responsibility. To discern what is right should lead us into humble obedience, not pride. Scripture trains our desires so we can love what God loves. Ask the Lord to move His Word from your mind into your choices, character, and daily walk.
