The Earth Before Judgment

Isaiah’s vision is stark: the Lord empties, wastes, overturns, and scatters the earth. It reminds us that creation and nations are not beyond God’s rule. Human pride may build as though permanent, but the Lord can shake everything. Such judgment calls us to humility, repentance, and holy fear. Yet even severe warnings are merciful if they awaken us to seek the unshakable kingdom of God.
