Enough for the Moment

When the disciples pointed to two swords, Jesus answered, It is enough. They misunderstood much about the battle ahead, for His kingdom would not advance by earthly violence. Yet the Lord remained patient, moving toward the cross with perfect resolve. This verse invites us to examine our instincts in crisis. Do we grasp for human weapons, or trust the Savior whose suffering love accomplishes what force never can?
