Thanksgiving As A Sacrifice

The psalmist offers thanksgiving as a sacrifice and calls upon the name of the Lord. Gratitude is not merely a feeling after life becomes easy; it is worship given to God because He is faithful. Sometimes thanks costs us pride, complaint, or fear. When we remember His deliverance and speak His name in prayer, our hearts are re-centered. Thanksgiving becomes an altar where trust is renewed before Him.
