The Danger of Pride

Proverbs warns that pride in the heart is detestable to the Lord and will not go unpunished. Pride may join hands with others and feel secure, but it cannot escape God’s judgment. The issue is not confidence in God, but self-exaltation that refuses Him. Humility opens the heart to wisdom, correction, and grace. Today we can ask the Lord to search us and teach us lowly dependence.
