Power Without Compassion

The king’s decree rushed through the empire while the king and Haman sat down to drink, but the city was perplexed. Esther 3:15 exposes the cruelty of careless power. Decisions made without compassion can leave whole communities trembling. God sees the confusion and fear of the vulnerable. Let us reject indifference, pray for justice, and trust that God works even when evil seems official.
