A Day Set Apart

The holy convocation reminded Israel that life was not only work, production, and routine. God called His people to gather, rest, and remember Him. Ceasing from servile work was an act of trust: the Lord provides even when hands are still. In a restless world, God still invites us to sacred attention. Make room for worship, for fellowship, and for the renewing presence of the Lord.
