Turn Away Quickly

Wisdom does not tell us to admire the path of evil from a safe distance. It says avoid it, do not pass near it, turn from it, and keep moving. Temptation often grows stronger when we linger. God’s instruction is practical and protective. A faithful life sometimes depends on simple, immediate obedience: change direction, refuse the invitation, and walk in the way that leads to life.
